We are Brazilian leaders in the manufacture of sustainable products, the largest exporter of sanitary metals in Latin America and the only company in Brazil to obtain the maximum water saving seal from WELS (Water Efficiency Labelling Scheme).
Docol is one of the first companies to join the Brazilian Habitat Quality and Productivity Program (PBQP-H – Programa Brasileiro da Qualidade e Produtividade do Habitat). We also seek partners to drive sustainable technological development, as we are convinced that it is possible to create products that combine design, quality and environmental responsibility, but that strategic partnerships are essential to achieve this goal.
At Docol, concern for air quality is a constant priority. We conduct annual analyses to monitor atmospheric emissions generated by our production process, aiming to minimize impacts on the environment. This initiative reflects our commitment to health, environmental conservation and the pursuit of increasingly responsible industrial practices. It is concrete actions like this, carried out in the present, that help to promote the reality of a more sustainable future for everyone.
Development and environmental protection must always go hand-in-hand. Here at Docol, preserving the environment is part of our purpose. We invest in the conservation of an Environmental Protection Area (APA) spanning 205,000 m² of preserved Atlantic Forest, efforts that are in line with the goals of the Kyoto Protocol and global sustainability objectives.
Water management in the units reflects our efforts toward efficiency and environmental responsibility. We promote detailed analysis of water collection and treatment practices, as well as the relationship between production, water consumption and effluent generation. The implementation of initiatives like water reuse, in addition to helping preserve water resources, also strengthens our operational resilience. Our three Wastewater Treatment Plants exceed the standards established by current legislation and operate with the commitment to return treated effluents to water bodies without the presence of harmful compounds, in order to protect local ecosystems. We are expanding these practices to all Docol units by implementing and quantifying water management indicators throughout the entire cycle. In addition, we remain focused on reducing the intensity of water use per piece produced and minimizing the effluents generated, thus strengthening our environmental preservation practices.

LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is an innovative building certification and guidance system that seeks to encourage and accelerate the adoption of sustainable practices in the sector. Its aim is to encourage and recognize buildings that make the best use of natural resources, such as the use of solar power, natural ventilation and water savings. Check out our products that help you obtain LEED certification.

With efficiency and sustainability in mind, Docol’s Salvágua technology was developed to reduce water consumption in bathrooms while maintaining efficiency. The finish allows for actuating the flush system using two buttons: partial flow (3 liters) and total flow (6 liters). This enables enhanced control over water use, according to the amount needed for each situation. This reduces water consumption by up to 60% and reaffirms our commitment to sustainability and the planet.

The Docol aerator is a smart item that mixes air bubbles with water, ensuring a more voluminous and comfortable stream. In addition to providing a pleasant experience, it can reduce water consumption by up to 90%, making it an essential solution for sustainable projects. With a constant flow independent of water pressure, our aerator offers practicality and efficiency in any installation.
