Docol actively participates in the standardization committees of the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards (ABNT – Associação Brasileira de Normas Técnicas) and provides information to consumers through DocolResponde (0800-474333) and DocolTelevendas (0800-474900).

Durability that exceeds standards

Considerably exceeding the requirements of Brazilian standards, our products offer superior resistance and ensure greater safety and durability for our customers. To comply with NBR 13713:2009, products with automatic shut-off, for example, must offer a minimum duration of 200,000 actuation cycles. Our DocolMatic products support up to 300,000 cycles, meaning they exceed the regulatory requirement by 100,000 cycles. This is Docol making a difference in the lives of those who trust our commitment!

100% of products are tested

With air or water, we were the first brand to test all our products before they leave the factory, ensuring that the sealing system and actuation mechanisms are working perfectly.
We thus raise the market quality standard, establishing a new level of reliability in relation to our products, in addition to considerably reducing failures.

The most extensive technical assistance network in the segment

Docol maintains the largest authorized technical assistance network in the segment and spares no effort to ensure fast, quality assistance whenever our service is called upon. There are more than 220 points throughout Brazil and our own call center, responsible for scheduling and monitoring demands. After the first contact with our team, the deadline for scheduling maintenance is up to 48 hours. An efficient service that provides much more assurance and quality. In addition, we offer 12 training sessions/year to ensure experts’ qualification and the quality of the service provided.

ISO Certification

Docol has received certifications from the regulatory body BRTÜV, part of the TÜV Nord Group in Germany:

1997 – compliance with NBR ISO 9002 for the manufacture of flush valves.
2003 – compliance with NBR ISO 9001:2000, which includes flush valves, pressure valves, gate valves and the DocolMatic family. 2009 – compliance with NBR ISO 9001:2008 for design, development, manufacturing and technical assistance of the DocolSystem, DocolMatic and DocolValves families.
2018 – compliance with NBR ISO 9001:2015 for the design, development, manufacture and technical assistance of sanitary metal fixtures, hydraulic valves and water-saving devices intended for building and sanitation hydraulic installations.

PBQP-H: pioneers once again

The Brazilian Habitat Quality and Productivity Program (PBQP-H – Programa Brasileiro de Qualidade e Produtividade do Habitat) was created in 1998 by the Federal Government and aims to improve the quality of the human habitat and modernize production in the sector. We were one of the pioneering companies to comply with the program. Over the years, we have received other certifications for our products: in 2006, we were qualified in the Quality Assurance Program for Sanitary Metal Fixtures and Water-Saving Devices, and in 2020, we received qualification in the Sectoral Program for the Quality of Sanitary Ware for Building Systems, both of which are part of PBQP-H.

FSC® Certification

In 2022, we implemented and certified an FSC® Chain of Custody System
which meets the requirements of the Forest Stewardship Council®. The certification was validated by the certifying body Apcer (Portuguese Certification Association), for the purchase of furniture and preparation boards, assembly and sale of furniture for laundry rooms and kitchens.
In 2023, we achieved FSC® recertification and multi-site certification, which attests to responsible forestry management and timber traceability by combating deforestation and promoting sustainability.

Compulsory Inmetro Certification

Our concern for quality and excellence is present in our daily routine, and the numerous certifications that Docol has received are proof of this.
Inmetro’s Compulsory Certification guarantees that our products meet the necessary requirements to be sold in Brazil. This certification covers Docol in the following products:

– DocolCozy heated towel rack;
– kitchen single lever with DocolVitalis water purifier;

IAPMO Oceania is Australia and New Zealand’s world-renowned conformity assessment and certification body for sanitary metal fixtures. The IAPMO/WaterMark™ ensures that our products meet the most stringent regulatory requirements and quality standards in accordance with Australian legislation, with recognition worldwide. This certification makes it easier to identify high-quality products and confirms our commitment to excellence.
