Created by the Quaglio Simonelli design studio for Docol, the Naiade single control unit was awarded the Good Design Award in 2022 and by iF Design in 2023. Designed as an architectural volume with an asymmetric balance, the single-lever mixer, versions for kitchen and washbasin, brings together two elements of simple shapes that create a fluid composition. The light metal spout placed on a sturdy cylinder suggests a dynamic balance, at the imminence of movement, a perception reinforced by the use of two different materials. The base of the single lever is made with the exclusive Neoclast®, a high-performance material composed of resin and mineral aggregates, which has a non-porous surface that is soft to the touch. This material is solid, resistant, easy to clean and has a smooth and natural finish, in three color options: chalk, sand and basalt. The metal spout and lever have a brushed finish of Colchroma copper, graphite, stainless steel (kitchen) and nickel (washbasin).
