The Mantis Line reflects the elegance of the eyes of the architects Marcelo Alvarenga and Juliana Figueiró, from Play Arquitetura, combined with Docol quality and technology. “A timeless piece”, is how architect Marcelo Alvarenga defines the line, whose organic body design evokes a certain nostalgia, while the shape and texture of the drive wheel refer to the timeless preciousness of a jewel. The name Mantis refers to the mantis. “We think that the super long design of the beak, with a slight inclination, is reminiscent of the delicacy and elegance of these insects,” says the architect.
