Our exclusive DocolChroma® Onyx finish is the result of a surface treatment in which each piece is handcrafted with a powerful flow of glass microspheres to generate a satin, matte and smooth texture. DocolChroma® finishing technology is applied to this surface, a high-temperature vacuum process in which selected metals are evaporated and then deposited on the surface of the piece to create an ultra-thin and dense coating that highlights the beauty and purity of black, called Onyx. This layer is highly adherent and resistant to corrosion, UV rays, scratches and cleaning products. In addition to the aesthetic refinement of the composition between a soft black tone and a satin texture, DocolChroma® Onyx has a unique property: its finish minimizes fingerprint marks and stains caused by water residue.
