Our exclusive DoColchroma® Onyx finish results from a surface treatment in which each piece is handcrafted with a powerful flow of glass microspheres to generate a satin, matte and smooth texture. DocolChroma® finishing technology is applied to this surface, a vacuum process at high temperatures in which selected metals are evaporated and then deposited on the surface of the piece to create an ultra-thin and dense coating that highlights the beauty and purity of black, called Onyx. This layer is highly adhesive and resistant to corrosion, UV rays, scratches, and cleaning products. In addition to the aesthetic refinement of the composition between a soft black tone and a satin texture, DocolChroma® Onyx has a unique property, its finish minimizes fingerprints and stains caused by water residues.
